IKEA Dresser Hack
I wanted a specific look for our new dresser in our Master Bedroom Refresh. I wasn’t able to find the exact type I wanted anywhere. Then I saw some gorgeous legs and handles from Pretty Pegs and knew I could easily make the dresser of my dreams. I am going to walk you through the quick DIY steps for creating this gorgeous IKEA Hack dresser. All of the items will be linked below.
1.) You will need to order two of the IVAR 3 Chest Drawers from IKEA. I lightly sanded it down and did one coat of polyurethane. You can do more but I wanted the look of the light wood so I only did one.
2.) Next I ordered six of the Greta 170 Legs in gold from Pretty Pegs. Their products are designed for IKEA furniture but they have universal adapters for furniture that isn’t IKEA as well.
3.) Last, I ordered the Stina 400 Knobs from Pretty Pegs. I wanted two per drawer, since the drawers are a little longer, so I ordered 12. You could get away with just doing one per drawer if you wanted though.
There you have it! A really simple IKEA Hack to create a look that is unique to you. All that is left to do is style it. Below is the final result and I am loving it. Have you done an IKEA Hack before? If so let me know below.
Cheers!
