Why Your 30’s Aren’t All Bad
So many people are worried about turning the big three zero. But although it can be scary getting older it is also exciting to enter new parts of life. Your 20’s are all about drinking too much, making mistakes, finding your passion, and starting your career so you can progress. People say that your 30’s are some of the best years in life for good reason. It is normally the point in life where you start to have a good income, settle down with family and enjoy the little things that we experience in life.
Buying A Home
When you get to your 30’s it is the point where a lot of people buy their first house. It used to be a lot younger but as house prices rise and people’s lifestyle changes it isn’t always a top priority in your 20’s anymore and a lot more people tend to rent. So as you get to the point where you want to buy a house it can bring so much enjoyment. When renting you aren’t always able to decorate so you will be able to completely make this space your own. When you are looking to buy a home be sure to use a real estate agency as they are the experts and will be able to guide, advise and help your house dreams come true.
Looking After Your Body And Mind
Once we get to our 30’s it also starts to sink in more about how important it is to look after our bodies and look after our well-being. More likely than not we went a bit crazy in our 20’s. This is fine, it’s sometimes something you need to get out of your system. As you get older you realize you can’t drink all night and come home at silly o’clock in the morning and just eat junk food. We only get one body, we need to look after it. So we start to look after our health more. If you introduce more fruits and vegetables, drink more water, and cut down on junk and alcohol you are making great strides. So during your 30’s you will start to notice how better your body feels and want to continue nourishing yourself. It is also a point where you will want to start focusing on your mental health more, this can be in the form of practicing self-care regularly and it can also be looking to start therapy and correcting some deep-rooted issues that still affect you to this day.
When we are getting older we have to remember it isn’t all bad, there are things we can no longer do but then they are replaced by new and exciting things we can do instead. We may not go out with a huge group of people drinking anymore but we have a close-knit group of friends with whom you can go for drinks, go for meals, and as you have kids you can have play dates and your kids can be friends too. You may be moving out of that little apartment you love so much but you will be getting on the property ladder and owning your property which is a great step.
