Benefits of our Perky-Pet Bird Feeders
With summer just around the corner we are looking to revamp our outdoor space. The first thing I wanted to add were bird feeders to both our backyard and our front yard. What is a better addition to an outdoor space than our friends that fly? I was doing research and decided on three options from Perky-Pet feeders. The more research I did the more I realized all the benefits to having bird feeders in your home. I will go through each bird feeder I received as well as a benefit to having a bird feeder in your home.
1.) Squirrel Be Gone Max Feeder
The first feeder that we got is in our front yard. My kiddos LOVE it because they stare at the window and watch the birds each morning while I sip my coffee and relax. Speaking of relaxing, did you know that a benefit to having a bird feeder in your home is that bird watching helps you experience nature, which is known to decrease stress. I am all about that, lets reduce the stress and entertain my children. I also loved this feeder because it can hold up to 4 pounds, so you don’t have to refill it frequently. Additionally, it has four feeding stations and a weight activated Seed Shield that closes ports under a squirrel’s weight when they try to access the perches.
2.) Glass Top-Fill Cactus Hummingbird Feeder
The second one we had to have was the cactus hummingbird feeder. First things first, this is adorable! I love the look of it and there are gaskets that create a seal around the base to prevent leaking. It comes apart easily for cleaning and can hold up to 32 ounces of nectar. Oh and did I mention it can be filled from the top! It was the perfect addition to our pergola in the backyard. Bird feeding encourages healthy birds, and the more hummingbirds in my backyard the better. Did you know that hummingbirds are a symbol of joy and happiness, which is exactly the type of feeling they bring to our backyard!
3.) Window Bird Feeder
The final feeder we currently have ( I say currently because we will get more) is the window feeder. This was our first time purchasing a window feeder but it is so fun to watch them fly right up to the window. The tray holds 1 pound of food and is very easy to refill thanks to the removable seed tray. Make sure the glass is really clean before attaching and know that it may take a little bit longer for the birds to find it because they aren’t used to this area. However, once they do find it, they are there all the time! Since there is such a large entrance it can allow even larger birds, such as cardinals to come and feed. Speaking of feeding, did you know that bird feeders help parent birds feed their chicks? Just another reason to love them!
So there you have it our three new additions to our outdoor spaces. I can’t wait to add more and revamp our garden. Which one would you be most likely to buy from Perky-Pet Feeders?
